Each marker is a texture. Anywhere between markers, grain settings blend by distance, and each grain picks its source from the nearby markers, so moving across the field morphs one sound into another. Grid lock places grains on the step grid (clicks and cuts); unlocked grains drift freely as a cloud. Tuned pitches grains to each point's note; Resonator rings untuned sounds such as clicks and static at that note.
Load any audio file into a texture. Set its root to the note it was recorded at so tuned grains land on pitch. Samples stay in this browser.
The lead point snaps to the nearest intersection; that chord is the current center. Every point plays one tone of it. With Each, every point takes the center under itself instead.
Follow: plays its chord tone of the center. Lead: moves to the nearest chord tone, so the line stays smooth. Drone: stays on the home chord. Contra: moves the opposite way around the key.
Motion: points follow your finger, mirror it across the field, or stay pinned in place.
Locked, the random choices behind each grid grain repeat every loop, so a texture settles into a groove. Reseed rolls a new one.
Each point has its own echo and space sends on the Harmony page. Throw on the Play page pushes everything into the echo while held.
Tap Draw on the Play page, then trace a path across the field. The center travels along it at the trail's own tempo, so the tonal center, the textures and the slow bass all move with it. Touching the field pauses the trail and your finger takes over until you let go.
Bounce runs the path forward, then back. Drawn keeps the speed changes of your stroke (linger in a spot and the trail lingers there too); Even moves at a steady speed. Match main tempo keeps passes locked to the bar, including inside Discobot.
The bass ignores quick moves. Over each phrase it notes which tonal center you spent the most time on and only moves there at the next phrase, playing roots, fifths, sevenths and octaves of that chord. A ring on the field marks its center. Auto picks a pattern per center; Variation drops and swaps notes for dub space. Phone speakers lose the lowest notes, so use headphones or Up an octave.
The last 48 seconds of what plays are kept in memory. Save the last few bars (or record the next few) as a WAV of exactly what you heard, a MIDI file with each point's notes and the bass, or both in one .zip. Nothing is uploaded.
A design holds the texture field, tonal centers, points, time and effects. Loaded samples are referenced by name and stay in this browser.

Held notes sends each point's note while it plays (channel per point on the Harmony page). Grain hits sends a short note for every grid grain. Needs Chrome on Android or a desktop Chromium browser; plug in with a USB-C OTG cable, or set Android's USB mode to MIDI to reach a computer.
